The USF Jazz Orchestra, directed by Tom Brantley, and the USF Jazz Ensemble, directed by Ross Strauser, will present their first concert of the fall. Featuring Guest Artist Erica von Kleist. Multi-instrumentalist and educator Erica von Kleist has led many lives as a musician and producer, leading the charge as woodwind specialist, and entrepreneur. After receiving the first jazz bachelor's degree in the history of the Juilliard School, Erica went on to tour and record with luminaries including Wynton Marsalis and Chris Potter, and spent time working on Broadway.
